Our family-run lumber and building materials business was founded in 1962.

Today, Murray, Dave and Brent Stammen also custom build projects from start to finish, throughout Saskatchewan.  Stammen Lumber had its start as a small sawmill in eastern Saskatchewan. Founding partners were Roman Stammen, Maurice Baker and David Stammen. In the summer of 1962 a planer mill was set up 2 1/2 miles north of Annaheim, Saskatchewan by the three partners in the original sawmill operation. Sales were in lumber and plywood. In 1977 the planer was sold and the operation became Stammen and Baker Lumber. Then in 1987 the name was changed to Stammen Lumber and we started to handle a full line of building materials. Randy heads up estimating and manages building projects from start to finish. We recently added 4,000 sq. ft. to our existing building...

...Stammen Lumber is a member of the Castle Building Centres buying group, a national co-op buying group giving us the buying power and product selection that makes us as competitive as the big box stores. We are also a member of the New Home Warranty Program of Saskatchewan. This program provides new home buyers with a limited warranty and ensures that their new home is constructed to generally accepted building standards.

We provide customers with a design and drafting service to help them plan their new home or renovation to their exact needs. Stammen Lumber prides itself on the ability to offer the latest in building products and technology along with a large inventory to choose from. From dimensional lumber, rough lumber, slabs, shingles, gyproc, plywood and OSB sheeting, LP Floor Systems and insulation. We also have a roof truss and stair manufacturing division that supplies Canada's midwest.

We can supply the material for your project and we can also build it. A general contracting service is available to our customers, with experienced crews offering top quality workmanship. Over the years we have supplied and built many buildings including commercial, residential and farm. No job is too small or too big.
